The German city of Cologne hosted a new edition of the Anuga food trade fair from 7 to 11 October, which this year attracted 140,000 trade visitors from 200 countries and 7,850 exhibitors from 118 countries. “This year’s edition exceeded all expectations and underlines Anuga’s global position as the world’s number one trade fair for food and beverages.”
“As the world’s largest trade fair for food and beverages, Anuga 2023 has sent an important signal for the future of the industry. In doing so, the trade fair promotes dialogue and collaboration between companies, organisations, the economy, science and politics in order to jointly shape a sustainable and worthwhile future,” continued Gerald Böse. Anuga 2023 saw the participation of 7,850 companies from 118 countries on a gross exhibition area of 300,000 m². Foreign participation reached 94 percent. Around 140,000 trade visitors from 200 countries came to Anuga 2023. Foreign participation was 80 percent.
