The OLOT MEATS GROUP, one of the most powerful groups in the Spanish meat sector, is made up of three leading companies: OLOT MEATS, S.A., CÀRNIQUES DE JUIÀ, S.A. and CÀRNIQUES CELRÀ, S.L. The group currently produces 15,000 pigs per day, has a turnover of 823,000,000 euros per year and employs 1,500 people.
Our group, with a long tradition in meat exports, is authorised to export to more than 120 countries. Our client companies, from all over the world, guarantee the quality of our products.
The group’s plants boast state-of-the-art facilities. The quality management systems implemented in the organisation support our production processes and guarantee the safety of our products. A large team of professionals, in partnership with an official veterinary service, supervise and control the entire production process, including the arrival of live animals (ante-mortem control) and the slaughter of the animals, the quality of the carcasses, post-mortem control, the refrigeration of the carcasses and viscera, cutting, packaging and refrigeration or freezing for subsequent dispatch to our customers.
Our traceability management system ensures that we have full knowledge of the origin of each of our products. From the farm to the end product, with a full guarantee of knowledge of all the information in the production chain.

We manage and handle white and red pig viscera, and process pig casings for later use in the food market. CÀRNIQUES DE JUIÀ, S.A. is part of the group of pioneering industries in the meat sector that has implemented a quality assurance system based on ISO standards. The organisation has incorporated within its system the necessary and sufficient mechanisms for the operation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). All pigs processed at Càrniques de Juià, S.A. are the result of elaborate genetic and nutritional studies. This ensures the highest quality and homogeneity of the meat. The scope of activity of our organisation is the cutting and storage of meat from pig carcasses obtained from animals born, fattened and slaughtered in Spain.

We are a company in the meat sector located in the town of Celrà, in the province of Girona, 50 km from the border with France and between 50 and 100 km from maritime loading docks. All animals processed at Càrniques Celrà, S.L. are the result of genetic, nutritional and market demand studies. This ensures maximum homogeneity and healthiness of the meat. The company, which began its activity as a cutting plant in October 2011, was created and designed with export trade in mind, and with work flows and personnel capable of meeting international health and hygiene standards. Having adopted a quality assurance system in accordance with ISO regulations, Càrniques Celrà has accordingly implemented a HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
